When it comes to meat, the prices are equally diverse: pork loin is priced at 1.62 lei/100 grams, pork breast at 3.15 lei/100 grams, and lamb carcass at around 4.79 lei/100 grams.
For those who prefer shopping in markets, the situation is even more challenging. The cost of lamb, a staple Easter dish, can soar to 60 lei per kilogram, a value that many find steep as they prepare for the holiday festivities.
