Rabla Auto 2026 Program: Over 11,000 Applications Submitted in First Hour
The registration for the Rabla Auto 2026 program, aimed at individuals, commenced on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Within the initial hour, a staggering number of over 11,000 applications flooded in for the acquisition of environmentally friendly cars and motorcycles.
Among the applications received, more than 6,400 were for new vehicles with thermal propulsion systems, including internal combustion engines and LPG/CNG engines. The total value of these submissions amounted to 72.7 million lei, a significant portion of the program’s allocated budget of 165 million lei.
The budget of 15 million lei designated for the acquisition of electric motorcycles was fully utilized in just 9 minutes, with close to 1,300 applications swiftly processed. Furthermore, over 3,500 applications, totaling 63 million lei, were recorded for the purchase of new plug-in hybrid vehicles, fully electric cars, or vehicles powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
Florin Bănică, the president of the Environmental Fund Administration, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing success of the Rabla Auto Program in meeting the demands of citizens and facilitating their access to more energy-efficient vehicles. This initiative, led by the Environmental Fund Administration, aims to encourage investments in sustainable mobility, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of air quality and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The registration period for the Rabla Auto 2026 Program remains open until December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., or until the exhaustion of the available budget. Interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to embrace eco-friendly transportation options and contribute to a cleaner environment.
